What is Zoom survey technology?
Zoom survey technology is when a zoom camera is mounted on a telescopic pole and inserted via the manhole to provide video inspection of the manhole and adjacent pipes. It takes very little time, and no water is required. After the visual assessment, the operator can determine if the pipe needs cleaning and what nozzle to use to clean the pipe without water wastage.
Zoom assessment fits into existing work flows, delivering valuable information with minimal disruption. The process uses focused illumination and a high-powered camera to capture detailed footage of the pipe, transmitting it to the operator without the need for a CCTV crawler to run the length of the pipe.
